FDL Editions is the ‘everyday’ line to Francis de Lara fine and high jewellery, hand-finished. As one of the first two FDL Editions pieces, these unisex ‘Pentagons’ are crafted from gold-plated aeropace-grade titanium, considered a fine and high jewellery material, which is hypoallergenic, ultra-light-weight, and incredibly strong. They feature a 1970s vintage stock claret-red garnet teardrop motif at front, and an ethically-sourced natural diamond round on the side-temple. The Category 2 lenses are a chic gradient mocha which provide 100% UV protection and crystal-clear vision without distortion. The unisex Pentagons feature a ‘Rigato’ texture, bringing to mind the texture of a silk grosgrain ribbon and paying homage to classic Florentine hand-engraving techniques. Lens-locks on the sides keep the lenses firmly in place, and are easy to unscrew in case you wish to replace the lenses with another colour or prescription lens, as these frames are prescription-ready.

FDL Editions frames are made with ethically-sourced materials. In view of this, combined with our obsession to details, we’ve decided that a glasses case should not simply be just ‘a glasses case’. Each pair of FDL Editions comes in a beautiful designer case which multi-functions as a chic shoulder bag. It is made from sustainable vegan eco-friendly, durable pineapple fiber mock- crocodile leather, finished with beautiful hardware and a satisfyingly chunky metal shoulder chain. In the case you may want to leave your FDL Editions glasses at home, you can stick your phone, keys and essentials in our shoulder-bag and you’re ready to go.
