Introducing FDL Editions ‘Snake Eyes’ sunglasses, crafted in gold-plated aerospace-grade titanium side-temples with a premium acetate front. These ultra-lightweight unisex frames are decorated with a pale gold metal teardrop in front to match the side-temples, punctuated with a 1.7mm natural blue sapphire round. The blue sapphires are untreated and natural, and vary from light to medium blue. The frames come in four colour options: deep transparent black, warm tortoiseshell, transparent emerald green, and transparent ice. The lenses provide 100% UV protection and crystal-clear vision without distortion: sheer mirror pale-gold for the black and ice frames, our favourite gradient brown for the tortoiseshells, and gradient mauve for the emeralds. The side-temples feature a ‘Telato’ engraving effect, made by tiny, unevenly scored lines in a cross-hatch pattern to give a ‘linen texture’, paying homage to classic Florentine hand-engraving techniques.

FDL Editions frames are made with ethically-sourced materials. In view of this, combined with our obsession to details, we’ve decided that a glasses case should not simply be just ‘a glasses case’. It is made from sustainable vegan eco-friendly, durable pineapple fibre mock- crocodile leather, finished with beautiful hardware and a slender metal shoulder chain.
